Some of the content on The Wellness Almanac is sponsored, and some contains affiliate links. This page explains exactly what that means.
Affiliate links
An affiliate link is a link that identifies this site as the source of a visit. If a reader follows one and goes on to buy the product, Clayton Luiz Digital LLC may receive a commission from the merchant. The price paid by the reader is never higher because of it.
Sponsored articles
A sponsored article is one where a commercial relationship exists with the product being written about. Every such article carries the word Advertorial at the top of the page, in the masthead, on every device. If that label is absent, no commercial relationship exists.
What we do not do
- We do not publish testimonials from people who do not exist, or attribute quotes to invented customers.
- We do not present stock or generated imagery as photographs of real customers or results.
- We do not claim endorsements from doctors, institutions or publications that have not given them.
- We do not use countdown timers, false scarcity or invented stock levels.
Independence of opinion
A commercial relationship does not buy a conclusion. Where a sponsored article states a fact, that fact is held to the same standard as anything else published here, and where the honest answer is a qualified one, the article says so.
Health claims
Statements about dietary supplements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. No product mentioned here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Individual results vary.
Questions about any commercial relationship on this site can be sent to editor@smallhoursreview.com.
