This policy explains what The Wellness Almanac, published by Clayton Luiz Digital LLC, collects when you visit this site, and what is done with it.
What we collect
- Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from IP address, device type and browser, and the site or advertisement that referred you.
- Advertising identifiers — cookies and similar identifiers set by advertising partners, described below.
We do not ask for, and this site does not collect, your name, address, telephone number or payment details. There is no account to create and no form to fill in. Purchases, where they happen, take place on a merchant's own site under that merchant's privacy policy.
Advertising and analytics partners
This site uses the Meta pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. It records page views and interactions such as clicking through to a merchant, and allows advertising to be measured and targeted. Meta may combine that information with data it already holds. Meta's own data policy governs what it does with it, and is available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
This site also uses Microsoft Clarity, an analytics tool provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity records how pages are used — how far down a page people scroll, where they click, and a replay of the session as a sequence of page interactions. It is used to find out which parts of an article are read and which are not, so the writing can be improved.
Clarity is configured to mask text entered into form fields. We do not use it to identify individual readers, and we do not combine it with any other information. Microsoft's privacy statement governs what Microsoft does with the data, and is available at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
Your choices
- Browser settings can block or delete cookies at any time.
- Meta ad preferences can be adjusted at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Most browsers offer a Do Not Track setting, which this site honors where the browser sends it.
Rights under US state law
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
